CAE works with corporations, small businesses, city government agencies, community-based organizations and other non-profits to provide one-time workshops around issues of violence that are particular to them.  Companies hire CAE to provide Self Defense and Upstander training to employee groups, including women’s groups, LGBTQ Groups and other affinity groups, as well as for team building.

Workshops provide colleagues an opportunity to think about real-life issues of violence based on sex, race, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship status and religion in a workplace setting, and learn practical techniques to protect themselves or others.  The goals are to create communities of belonging and better understanding. Methods used include physical demonstrations, discussions, scenarios, role plays and can be tailored to the specific group or environment. 1-3 hour workshops.
